Burt’s Bees Miracle Salve

Another Burt’s Bees product in my collection 🙂

This face cream I’ve encountered on the site of Burt’s Bees, and at first glance I was very interested.

Unfortunately in our country was never able to find (in Muller where otherwise Burt’s Bees products have not been offered, and found myself buying it in my first order from Feelunique).

It is a multi-purpose grease. It can be used on hair, hands and body, so wherever you feel dry on the hair or skin.

Packaging is typical of the brand; vintage, simple, tin with Uncle Burt on the cover 🙂 (sometimes really occasionally i find a bit problematic opening it, this is because the last time I laughed when I read that it is difficult to open the box of Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme 😛 karma is a bitch!)

The smell is nothing special but not very pleasant, the almost-stink is not strong and is rapidly lost from the skin, so until you don’t keep your nose close to the box all is fine 🙂

Ingredients:

Olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, Cera alba (beeswax, cire d’abeille), Cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed oil, Triticum vulgare (wheat) germ extract, pollen extract, Adenophora stricta root extract, glycine soja (soybean) oil

100% natural ingredients.

Not tested on animals.

In the list you can see the pumpkin seed oil, (I think it’s the scent that i feel) that helps dry skin and hair. It has zinc, vitamins A, C and E, is rich in essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and 6).

hydrates, nourishes and firms the skin, has anti-inflammatory properties, nourishes and stimulates the skin regeneration.

It has a beneficial effect on the hair, strengthens it, protects it from drying out and thus breaking and split ends, gives softness and shininess.

It’s very thick texture, in the instructions is written, a small amount of warm up on the hands before use, of course, this does not apply to our current temperatures, it’s fine, you can use a small amount of getting simply by passing the fingers on the surface.

Gets absorbed quickly and leaves your skin / hair greasy.

I was mostly interested in the effect on the hair. I have very dry hair with which I have some time to fight for a little revive and tame effect.

I use it so little, after brushing, put on the ends, and then pass a little to smooth the entire length.

This i used to do one and sometimes several times a day. I prefer when I use it on dry hair.

Do not grease my hair, I feel that the hair has now absorbed it and can put more than once, better not to exaggerate or the hair gets oily.

Good taming of the little unruly hair and smoothed her hair.

Since using it the hair is less brittle and i have a feeling that the ends are less dry and more under control, the overall feeling is good and the hair look better and nicer and softer to the touch. Definitely will continue to use it 🙂

If anything remains on the hands do not mind it, and indeed in the hands is working very well leaving them soft, moisturised, shiny and silky to the touch and all you feel is your skin and not the protective film feeling that certain creams give you.

Also good for foot care, which in the summer so much needed. Already after a few days I felt that the skin is softer and healthier, I have no particular problems with cracked or thickened skin on the feet, so I do not know in that case if it would act quickly, for my needs is perfect 😉

A good product for travel because it takes up very little space, safe from spills or slurring the rest of the bag and replaces more product and saves space and provides a lot of care and hydration.

I do not like the fact that on the hair does not have long-term effect, until you use it all is well but if you stop in a couple of days back I was at the beginning and that’s not enough 😛
On the skin has a much better, longer-lasting effect, if you have dry hands or feet is a good choice because it leaves them visibly tended 🙂

You know how it is when you have a hundred projects for the summer you love summer, the beach, traveling, new things in town, summer nights, summer dresses, legs free … and much more.

Also … You can spend days and days at the beach, in the sea, under the sea and then it happens julyyyyyyyyy 😛

Out is hot as hell, inside baby teeth grow. The child is cold, the baby has a fever, you get a cold, everyone else around you have the cold. Out is 40 ° C, the child has a temperature of 40 ° C, you are 40 ° C, the child throughout the day and the night attached to you making the sum of 140 ° C. It adds a hot hellish night during which you slept an hour or two with another night of hell. One heals and the other is cooled again julyyyyyyyyy 😛

And you get to July 1st that you hate the summer, and before you loved it, what does that mean? Have i become old all of a sudden? Did not the elders hate the winter because of the cold? Some new things that always help the mood (you do not know unless you try 😀 )

Le Petit Olivier ultra moisturizing body lotion with shea butter. The first thing I tried of this brand, of course, I was a bit intrigued by the cute packaging, then I noticed that it is parabens, artificial colors and phenoxythanola free, so I decided to give it a try. It’s good for the summer, because of frequent showers. The price is ok, the smell is not too strong, well moisturizes the skin, has a slow absorption.

Terra Naturi Deo Roll-on. The smell is kind and gentle but fades quickly and is good only if you have a mild sweating otherwise avoid it.

Solid Perfume Karma from Lush, I love it 😀 was too good for the summer have in your bag refreshments for times of need. It is strong enough for the hot season, has seen a great consistency, being it solid makes it easier to maintain. The smell is refreshing as its colors orange and lavender, in the middle and even later turns into a sweeter smell like patchouli, I always wake up happy in its fragrance 🙂 The only small drawback, it got immediately canceled the label with the name and graphics, and it seemed pretty. :/

A little of Uncle burt for me 😛 It’s goo for hair and skin, it is possible to find a review here my love used for his dry talons, thank you uncle Burt, using it regularly the effect is really wow 🙂

Natura Siberica shampoo to moisturize and volumize hair. I immediately noticed the volume effect 🙂 it gives life to the hair 🙂

Moisturizer bi good, fresh, light and with good smell of fruit, perhaps a little too thin to keep it in your bag also because it opens easily.

From Afrodita arrived a parcel for the shower smelling and fragrant and protection for the summer, large bottles sweet odors that may bother some so maybe it’s better for them to wait for winter.

I won a competition for extraction of Avon and they send me these creams.

aaaaaaaaaa This package arrived by surprise and i love surprises. 😀

Little black dress eau fraiche, this is the most pleasant surprise of the pack, light summer scent that you can use when it’s hot, I’m not a fan of perfumes made from citrus but I like this one because my skin is transformed into a smelly sweet musk.

Enamels, really summerish, good for the beach, not the best to take pictures though, orange is shining 🙂

Remember those stories on the strips of the last month? that? well, the result was 2:0 for me: D

Doing shopping, I came across a pair of shoes and shirt but I’m too lazy to post them now, in the next month will do 😀

Uriage Baby

Until a few years ago i was buying children’s shampoos and creams even though I did not have a baby. It was because of their good smell, packaging, color and mountain of foam produced, they were more attractive than those appropriate to my age and needs. There was no torture thinking about composition, because how can it be softer and healthier than the one intended for babies? 🙂

I often buy children’s cosmetics but now it’s for one baby and the way in which i pick them is completely different. Do not care about packaging and smell, indeed less odor in the product the healthier it is, because my baby smells like the best perfume in the world (ok a little fall in the accessories with a few product free teddy bear, bunny, groundhog … because hey no more baby joy than when the house suddenly welcomes a new toy: P).
The most important thing is that the cosmetics are gentle, with the least possible harmful ingredients and the smell, color, foam from the beginning of the story, they just have to not promise too much things because they often mean just the presence of some add-ons that for the baby skin care are not important at all.

At first i was mad and afraid about all the ingredients i could read on them because given the time everything will be declared hazardous or unhealthy.

I took 100 percent natural creams for the butt and did not have any good effect, I used the wet creams, baby powder, cotton diapers… Now, after the initial madness dwell on looking for unknown ingredients on Skindeep checking for the list of dangerous components I avoid parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate… ok still crazy but I’m trying to control the craziness : P
First, the most important: no problems or irritations these products (the baby has two years and normal skin).

The common ingredient for all of these products is Uriage thermal water which is bacteriologically pure, naturally isotonic, moisturizes, soothes, is anti-inflammatory, rich in minerals and elements traces.

Since it is a product line they also have delicate floral scent that stays long on the skin. The hair smelled good a little bit longer but it is light and you will feel it only when your nose is very near to the little head.

Uriage 1ére Créme

Uriage first cream – hydrating and soothing, nourishing face cream.

It is intended for daily facial skin care of newborns, infants and children. It is suitable for normal, sensitive and dehydrated skin.

Strengthens the hydro-lipid layer of the skin and stimulates the synthesis of lipids in the skin.

Without parabens and phenoxyethanol. Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

Even if it is intended for everyday care, (the packaging says that it can be applied morning and evening on clean skin), I still use it only occasionally because it does not seem necessary to lubricate my baby every day, i have the luck that my baby does not have any skin problems.

Now the baby is bigger nevertheless is increasingly needed because my little angel wants to copy her mother and asks her face cream when he sees that mom puts the cream, so we need a suitable sensitive baby’s skin cream :).
It’s very light, non-greasy texture. It is very easy to spread and quickly absorbed into the skin.
Does not leave any marks on the skin in addition to a fine gloss.

Ingredients:
aqua (water), cetearyl ethyhexanoate, uriage thermal spring water, glycerin, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), cetyl alcohol, hydrogenated polyisobutene, glyceryl stearate, octyldodecyl pca, peg-100 stearate, polymethyl methacrylate, polysorbate 60, dimethicone, parfum (fragrance), acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, chlorphenesin, piroctone olamine, tromethamine, xanthan gum, o-cymen-5-ol, butylene glycol, centaurea cyanus flower water.

1er Lait hydratant

Uriage first cream moisturizing milk for the face and body of babies and children.

Light texture, rapidly absorbed. It leaves not the skin greasy, but only hydrated and refreshed.

We use it occasionally (I’m a little bothered by this PARAFFINUM liquidum high in the composition), a smaller amount (we use a little amount because the smell is a little stronger than the other and a little funny) in our little ritual pats after a shower and in the process protect the delicate baby’s skin from drying hard water.

Ingredients:

Créme lavante

Uriage sparkling emulsion for washing newborns, infants and children.

It is intended for daily gently washing the face, body and hair, as it contains 1/3 nourishing milk, cleans and nourishes the skin and protects the hydro-lipid layer of baby’s skin.

Light texture, created a lovely soft foam, which easily washes (very important information for all those moms / dads whose babies hate have pouring water over their heads, as my baby does 😛

Proved on mommy, does not dry out the skin and does not irritate the eyes. According to the baby’s skin and hair is gentle and non-drying, however for this second part, i can not be absolutely sure because my baby screams if the water itself goes near the eyes so I have to be careful that not even a drop of water and shampoo is in her eyes.

Leaves the hair beautifully clean and fragrant, airy and luminous, like it was meant to be 🙂

The emulsion is paraben and soap free.

Hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic. Physiological pH (pH=6). Ophthalmologically tested.

Ingredients:

Aqua (water), uriage thermal spring water, magnesium laureth sulfate, decyl glucoside, glycerin, cocamidopropyl betaine, parfum (fragrance), styrene/acrylates copolymer, sodium chloride, peg-120 methyl glucose dioleate, dmdm hydantoin, citric acid, shorea stenoptera (shorea stenoptera butter).

1er Shampooing

Uriage first shampoo for babies and kids.

Free of parabens, soap, phenoxyethanol, silicone, sulfates and phthalates. Physiological pH (pH=6).

To avoid any repetition, 😉 everything i wrote above for Créme lavante applies to this shampoo, except that I definitely prefer to ones in bottle with pump, especially because I never have both hands free when i am with the baby.
Ingredients:

Aqua (water), Uriage thermal spring water, sodium cocoamphoacetate, sodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium chloride, caprylyl/capryl glucoside, ceteareth-60 myristyl glycol, citric acid, parfum (fragrance), sodium benzoate, coco-glucoside, glyceryl oleate, polyquaternium-10, sodium acetate.

I thought to skip this month at first, because I was wondering, what’s been good? the best answer would be that it never happened :P.

But then I remembered what I learned and I felt guilty to deny its existence, although it has already passed 🙂

Taught me:

– There is no one more stubborn than me, even if the decision I make is not to my advantage, I can not change my mind 🙁

– The tea made from the houseleek cure a sore throat, it lowers the temperature … (it takes only 10 grams of fresh leaves of houseleek (or 15 grams of dried leaves) and 2 ounces of water, boil for 15 minutes, the morning to drink half, the rest of the day, a spoonful every hour.).

– If you have an ear infection, pain can decrease if you have a lucky ear and can completely solve it with extra virgin olive oil where you previously put the chopped garlic and let stand for 15 minutes, then slowly heat it and put a few drops into the ear, it can be repeated several times.

Coconut oil that I recently used and still do not see results, I hope so it will be good news in a month or two. For now, enjoy the wonderful aroma.

Natura Siberica cream and peeling for the face I tried them for a short time but for now they are just good 🙂 (the only thing I do not like is the smell of aftershave the cream reminds me).

Beautiful color and even the duration is not bad, after 3 days was in good condition.

I used these new glasses, without which you simply can not keep your eyes open 😛

Micellar thermal water from Uriage

For several years I followed a French blog about lifestyle from which i bring to you two golden rules for cleaning the face:

never use tap water but only nebulized thermal water and thermal micellar water to remove makeup. They both work the same way: get wet cotton swab and pass it on the skin and repeat until the skin feels clean.

At first I was surprised by the fact that a bottle of clear liquid that is basically water, could replace lotions, creams, gels and cleansing milk but having a dry skin and a situation that was not improving using traditional methods i gave up to my curiosity and dipped in this new french way.

I tried both methods, and the one I prefer is the system with micellar water but I could not remove the tap water from the process completely, it is always nice to give a good rinse to the face sometimes right?

Want to know what is micellar water or a solution? or why it is better than tap water for cleaning your face?

No? Then skip the next paragraph: D

The tap water is hard (it contains high levels of calcium, magnesium and other minerals dissolved), contains chlorine used for disinfection and can further dehydrate and irritate the already sensitive and dry skin, also the situation does not improve if you add aggressive detergent.
The micellar water is a liquid that contains molecules of micelles, very delicate that removes makeup and impurities from the skin without drying it, does not change the pH value, but nourishes, refreshes and tones and it is not necessary to rinse.

The Uriage’s workshops offer thermal micellar water suited to the specific needs of our skin.

For normal to dry skin with cranberry extract – moisturizes.
For skin prone to redness with apricot extract – it soothes.
For oily skin with green apple – cleanses and normalizes the sebum.

They all contain thermal water Uriage, who was born in the ecologically clean Alpine France. It is rich in minerals and trace elements, moisturizes, soothes, neutralizes free radicals, promotes skin renewal.

I used the version for normal to dry skin (bottle with blue cap and label).

The bottle is plastic, transparent and thick.

The design is simple and clear, colors call for purity and freshness.

I used the 500 ml bottle, and although it is good in terms of the savings I find that when used it wastes a little bit of it letting out more than necessary 8at least for my needs).
In addition to using it for the demaquillage can be adapted to the normal cleaning of the face in this way reducing the number of products for everyday use.
Its texture is close to that of water as its transparency also has a smell very light that quickly disappears.

I hold the first pad on the eyes to give it time to dissolve the mascara, then gently wipe the eyes after which a second step on the pad face and if still needed i pass it again instead of the tonic that you should use, another product less to buy and another positive aspect of this product: D
Perfect for normal makeup i do not know what would happen with the mascara waterproof.

I use it when I want to remove makeup, but sometimes also for cleaning my face from the effects of affection brought by the hands that want to touch her mother and massage her face despite having first put them everywhere 🙂

After use, I do not feel the skin tight or clingy.

I have very sensitive eyes and does not give me any problems, even when I have a burning sensation or discomfort because of mascara and eye creams i pass it quickly and then rinse with water and voila all the troubles disappear. It does not irritate even the most sensitive skin of all the zone around the eyes.

Aqua (water, eau), polysorbate 20, poloxamer 184, glycerin, caprylyl/capryl glucoside, cetrimonium bromide, polyaminopropyl biguanide, parfum (fragrance), vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) fruit extract, citric acid.

After opening expires in 9 months 😉
