Nuxe – Prodigious Oil – multi purpose dry oil

When my mother saw the bottle Nuxe dry oil her first comment was: Again a new perfume? Yes, this glass bottle, lid and gilded gold content, it looks just like the perfume of those elegant, luxurious kind as from Chanel 🙂

At first seems expensive (the price is about 240KN(35$) for the 100 ml and 140KN(21$) for 50 ml) but definitely worth it when you see how it works and how many ways you can use it, I hope, that this will not be the last bottle 🙂

IMG_3449

I use it in many ways and probably i would find other too if i wasn’t saving it up a bit because of the price 🙂

I use it on the face every day, sometimes alone, sometimes before cream. On the hair, sometimes wet after washing, often dry. On the hands, nail and cuticles.

Enough is a very small amount, so the bottle lasts a very long time, mine is 100 ml, took me ten months to go through it, although it changes on individual needs and habits, like for a face cream, which lasts six months to me and to my mom spends it in three.

The bottle i am using is a 100-ml spray, before I used some bottle with less than 50 ml but without spray and I must admit that I  prefer the look and somehow nicer dosing of this one :/

Mostly use it on the face.

My skin was very dry, which is especially evident during pregnancy and lactation, it’s hard to find either a product that would nourish enough the skin, hydrate and yet not be too heavy and avoid potential adverse reactions, greasiness, acne, unpleasant sensation on the skin.

With the use of Nuxe dry oil situation is much better, skin is less dry, uniform, no dry or greasy zones, has a healthy glow, soft and smooth to the touch.

Since this is a dry oil, gets absorbed well without leaving any fat film on the skin, only a fine sheen fed skin and smells wonderfully.

I use it also for hair care, little spray on the palms of hands and just zip through your hair, paying special attention to the ends. Since I use it I have less split ends and hair is softer and shinier.

I really like how it works and the quality of nails and cuticles, nails are stronger, look brighter and healthier and with regular use I have no problems with hangnails.

Along with other well-being feeling is that overall sense of femininity and comfort when using it 😉

The smell is very special, although does not last long on the skin, very strong, which means someone will love it and some hate it but to me is wonderful, and my friend after first trying testers said that found the scent repellent, and will not think about using oil just because of the smell.

One of the fragrant tones that you will feel in this oil is the smell which I think is one of the most absolutely nice. It is the scent of orange blossom.

I was fortunate as a child i spent many sunny days playing below blossomed orange trees and this oil reminds me just of those happy days and delicate floral, sweet, full smell, the sun-warmed orange blossoms. With orange blossom there are shades of rose, magnolia, vanilla and cedar muscarinic.
There is also a perfume version of the fragrance, Le Parfum Nuxe Prodigieux, I have not had a chance to try it but if has the same smell as oil and the durability of perfume nobody would be happier than me, it would go high on my wish list 😀
Ingredients:

It contains 98.8 percent natural ingredients and a cocktail of six vegetable oils:

Peanut oil – contains the optimum blend of fatty acids, which guarantees flexibility and easy absorption without a greasy film on the skin. It is rich in natural lipids and antioxidant vitamin E and is an excellent blend with the lipid layers of the skin cells, which gives it a strong power of hydration and facilitates its absorption into the skin.
Macadamia oil – strengthens the natural protective barrier – hydrolipidic film – and thus affects the skin hydration, protects, softens, nourishes and makes it smooth
Sweet Almond Oil – softens and nourishes dry skin, soothes irritation
“Gospina trava” Hypericum perforatum oil – soothes, softens and stimulates skin renewal
Camellia Oil – soothes, nourishes, protects and softens the skin and makes it supple
Borage oil – anti-aging and helps reduce water loss from the skin

I read that one little bottle of oil in the world is sold every 6 seconds, are you among the lovers of the oil or have found something better 🙂 ?

Shimmering Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse® OR

Nuxe marvelously versatile dry oil with a golden glow

nuxe-IMG_5588-web_minioven

Long ago i was waiting to put my hands on this oil and silently suffering in the meanwhile, ok I admit not so silently because a lot of times it was a very loud suffering 😛 so now imagine my happy face when I finally got it 😀

About Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse amazing dry oil you can read here Nuxe Prodigious Oil and now a little bit about Nuxe dry oil with a golden glow.

Packaging is the same, pretty glass bottle with gold cap, which in this case reveals the current gold interior and looks even more attractive.

The bottle that I have is 100 ml and comes with a spray. In an ordinary dry oil, which I usually use on the face, I prefer the bottle without spray, because it was more practical to dose. When you use oil with gold particles on the body, need a little larger quantity and the spray is working good.

When describing a smell I always think I am crazy 😛 The first time I used it felt a little metallic and heavier than what is known. That made me very disappointed because the smell fit me differently from the well-known beautiful fragrance Nuxe oil, thankfully, after a short time was lost in the metallic smell and again there is that beautiful, familiar scent to me ideal for warm summer evenings.

This oil is multipurpose and everyone will find their favorite way to use it. For me, one of the things without which the summer was a little paler and more boring 🙂

My favorite moment was after returning from the beach, especially if you are preparing for a walk somewhere, after beautiful refreshing shower, rub this oil.

In summer my skin especially dried from the sea, salt, sun and so it is difficult to put on any creams, lotions to large temperature, because somehow always remain a little sticky skin. So I just used this summer dry oil, after which the skin is nourished, silky to the touch with a beautiful glow and scent.

The splendor of gold particles in it, nice to notice, the elegant and not overly brilliant way like the bronze glows. Do not expect that the oil creates a sun-kissed look, at least to me this effect doesn’t, but it will enhance only the tan color if already there. You know what you look like more tan while you are wet? the effect of the oil is in there somewhere.

The skin is deeply nourished and bright and has a small blur effect that minimizes minor imperfections and shows beautiful looking skin. The effect is especially nice to decollete, shoulders, legs and arms.

nuxe DSC0311_out

Does not grease the skin and hair, very quickly absorbed, although it feels a little more slow-absorbing than in the absence of gold particles (maybe the cause was only the slightly greater amount used for the body: D).

I like to use it on the hair. Especially works well when after washing the hair, as during summer can happen twice a day, put on damp hair. First, I put it on the ends and the rest of it over the hair. The hair gets a nice volume, lightness and softness with a beautiful fragrance. By the way, when is needed a frequent wash do not use shampoo every time, but only with water, put some conditioner and let it dry without blow-drying. This is in addition to oil on damp hair then blow-dry but not too much, so it is smooth and soft.

nuxe-IMG_5589-web_minipoven

I have not tried to use on the face, because I do not like glitter on my face, it’s a little too much for me, and I usually use dry oil for this purpose 🙂

You can expect some of that glittering transfer on other people who touch you after application.

It contains 95 percent of natural ingredients and a cocktail of six vegetable oils:

Hazelnut oil – contains the optimum blend of fatty acids, which guarantees flexibility and easy absorption without a greasy film on the skin. It is rich in natural lipids and antioxidant vitamin E and is blending excellently with the lipid layers of the skin cells, which gives them a strong power of hydration and facilitates its absorption into the skin.

Macadamia oil – strengthens the natural protective barrier – hydrolipidic film – and thus affects the skin hydration, protects, softens, nourishes and makes it smooth.

Sweet Almond Oil – softens and nourishes dry skin, soothes irritation.

“Gospina trava” Hypericum perforatum oil – soothes, softens and stimulates skin renewal.

Camellia Oil – soothes, nourishes, protects and softens the skin and makes it supple.

Borage oil – anti-aging and helps reduce water loss from the skin

And vitamin E – a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from free radical cell damage and aging skin, and is essential for the growth of healthy tissue. It helps prevent the formation of stretch marks, heal wounds, burns, inflammation and irritation of the skin. It softens and moisturizes the skin deep to the epidermis. Reduces the existing sunburn, and it is a natural blocker of UV rays

Contains no silicones, preservatives, mineral oils.

Ingredients:

ISOPROPYL ISOSTEARATE, MACADAMIA TERNIFOLIA SEED OIL, DICAPRYLYL ETHER, COCO-CAPRYLATE/CAPRATE, PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS (SWEET ALMOND) OIL, CORYLUS AVELLANA (HAZEL) SEED OIL, MICA, CAMELLIA OLEIFERA SEED OIL, SILICA, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, TOCOPHEROL, CI 77891/TITANIUM DIOXIDE, BORAGO OFFICINALIS SEED OIL, OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, CI 77491/IRON OXIDES, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT, HYPERICUM PERFORATUM FLOWER/LEAF/STEM EXTRACT, SOLANUM LYCOPERSICUM (TOMATO) FRUIT/LEAF/STEM EXTRACT, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCER

The price for 100 ml is kn 305 (46$), 50 ml kn 195(29$) which is not exactly cheap, but again it is a high quality, multi-purpose product. I do not use it every day but I use it often, so I had more than enough for spring, summer, autumn… if you have it you’ll want to spread it on the exposed skin and in the summer is a lot 😉 . I am pleased with the influence on the skin that nicely fosters a sense of satisfaction and a pinch of glamor brought in the daily care and the price after the initial shock does not seem so exaggerated.:D

But if I could choose only one of these two Nuxe dry oils, the choice would fall on what is typically used because it can be used literally all over the body and certainly would have been too great to use throughout the year, that is still with me booked for the summer.

Finally again I continue with the “quiet” suffering for Nuxe, this time is a perfume 🙂 Is on your wish list any Nuxe product?

Olival Golden oil with immortelle

Olival Zlatno ulje Smilja 1

Olival Golden oil Smilja comes in fresh, glass bottle, pharmacy vintagy with a dropper type 🙂

The only criticism is that the appearance of the letters from the bottle slowly disappear with the first dusting of the bottle, and if the bottle is shaken a little the dropper could separate from the stopper (by the way this person that did it will be forgiven only if he/she buys a new bottle for me :P)

Although I was very skeptical whether the smell would bother, because the immortelle smell is not among my favorites, but this time the scent surprised me in a pleasant way 🙂

It’s nice, gentle, sweet and flowery, though there is in there some of immortelle, in this case i don’t mind.

olival zlatno ulje smilja 4

The oil contains seven natural nourishing oils:

jojoba,
olive,
argan,
marigold,
rose,
almond,
apricot seed oil,

to moisturize and nourish the skin deeply.

The main active ingredient is the essential oil of immortelle,
which stimulates the regeneration of the skin and prevent wrinkles.

It is intended for normal, dry and sensitive skin of the face.

olival slatno ulje smilja 3

I use it at night. On the cleansed skin of the face, neck and chest. I use it alone, without the addition of cream. For my dry skin is quite enough and so is completely moisturized.
The first few days I had a little trouble with dosing, putting him too much because it seemed incredible to me two or three drops were sufficient, the result was my face covered in grease 🙁 Now when I use it by feeling on the face does not happen though the skin is shiny and nourished.

Even at first touch the oil might seem thick, it is very quickly absorbed and leaves no greasy feeling (when you hit the right amount :D) thus leaving a beautiful healthy glow to the skin :), soft and nourished skin. On my skin sits very well and would easily replace my cream.
How good the regenerative effect is or if it reduces wrinkles I’m not sure about but the skin certainly looks brighter and healthier and that’s good enough.

olival zlatno ulje smilja2

Although I exaggerated first times the amount, other than a little correcting to do there were no unpleasant consequences, irritation, redness, pimples (which can often come when I start using some new creams)…
olival6

For some time my mom used it, she knows about allergies bringing very serious problems to the face, damaging the skin. She tried a lot of creams but more or less they did not help nearly as this oil, which did a lot in a very short time and after a couple of days went to buy a bottle.
roze ružice

Is sufficient a very small amount, only a few drops, and lasts a long time, of course if you’re not clumsy like me and do not spill half and do not lend to people that do 😀

Ingredients:

Simmondsia chinensis seed oil, olea europaea fruit oil, undecane, tridecane, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, argania spinosa kernel oil, calendula officinalis flower extract, prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, prunus armeniaca kernel oil, rosa canina fruit oil, helichrysum italicum flower oil, linalool, limonene.

If you slowly begin to be obsessed with the composition of cosmetic products, like me, you can see that they are in the composition, along with natural nutrient oil even undecane, tridecane, caprylic/capric triglyceride, linalool and limonene. With a little Googling you find that undecane is emollient (moisturizing agent). Tridecane serves to conceal the odor. Caprylic/capric triglyceride can serve as an emollient and for covering up odors. I have not encountered any alarming, harmful ingredient. Linalool and limonene are also used to deodorize and smell, are an integral part of the essential oils, can be allergens.

(ps. gladly accept corrections better connoisseur of these problems if something is misspelled :))

Manufactured in Croatia 😉 Not tested on animals.

This is definitely one of the products that will repeatedly find on my list to buy. Price of oil is 130 kn – 15 ml (20$).

Have you tried the golden immortelle oil? Do you like it? do you use oil for skin care? Do you have a favorite? PR product

DIY Sea souvenir

diy-skoljke11

A quick DIY project. The idea for a small souvenir that hardly costs anything you can take with you from the beach 🙂

You need:

  1. shells
  2. sand
  3. stones
  4. cardboard
  5. pencil
  6. ruler and scissors.

diy-skoljke7

Now you need half an hour of free time, I recommend a nice air-conditioned room with your favorite music and favorite cold beverage at your fingertips 🙂 (some of you can not currently do this, will be fine cooling in sweat, with screaming baby dancing around to Gangnam Style video and tepid tea;)).

diy-skoljke-6

The cardboard marks show you where you want to attach shells and the frame (I later cut surpluses because is easiest this way and more regular, maybe I’m wrong: P).

diy-skoljke-5

Paste the shells. When you’re done with shells brush some glue in the space that you left for the frame, quickly then sprinkle sand on it. (If you want the borders little thicker or uneven to more emphasize textures, add a little glue and then sprinkle sand in other zones around them).
diy-skoljke-4

A lot of sand remains unglued so at this step, be careful to not spill sand all over the room 🙂 (unless you want it this way, with a room full of sand and in your ears too, you do not want to remember the holidays this way :P)

diy-skoljke-2

When you’re done with sand, go on and paste the stones and shells.

diy-skoljke-1

And… done 🙂

diy-skoljke-10

You get a free (if you have already the instant adhesive to repair unglued sneakers) souvenir from the beach, which will make you think of just the one beach where you spent the most beautiful and the most relaxed moments of summer with the person / s that helped you gather shells and pebbles.

diy-skoljke-8

How do you spend time in the “beautiful” summer temperatures? do you go picking shells and stones on the beach making your own souvenir DIY style or you prefer to buy something “PRO”?

Burt’s Bees cuticle cream with oil of lemon peel

Burt’s Bees cuticle cream with oil of lemon

Recently I was looking for a product that could help with my current problems, increasing number of spontaneously broken nails and raised cuticles, i passed all the boring beauty blogs and finally decided to try these creams.

Attracted by its 100% natural composition, a lot of positive experiences and of course not finding a lot of negative ones 😛

IMG_3995

It comes in a simple, metal box (btw I was laughing reading the negative comments a girl who just can not open this box: D). Box is protected with plastic (again dying of laughter, there are those who can not seem to open the plastic packaging and throw it in the trash 🙂 So plastic is there and you are certainly the first whose fingers visited it (important information knowing how many people are in our stores putting fingers where they do not belong, and I most often search half an hour reviewing all to find a good one and then take something violated and notice only when home. No kidding box is ok, maybe after some initial problems with the opening they adapted it for blondes because i do not see the problem with the lid even with greasy hands) and if you are a vintage lover, like me, you’ll love this type of packaging and probably you’ll find a purpose after discharge.

The smell is very nice, natural, refreshing just as sweet lemonade 🙂 and this smell to me right now in the summer draws to cream myself more than necessary 🙂

IMG_3982

The texture is quite thick, at first glance resembles a balm but not as greasy and easily absorbed. While colder weather makes it a little longer to dissolve under hands heat now this is no longer a problem :P. This denser texture is great for this purpose because it is easily dosed in small amounts required for fingernails and the area around them and just nice to be retained at the required location. Leaves no film on the skin and does not peel off when you put more than should be: P

I use it most often at bedtime, first put the cream on my hands and rub the amount of Burt’s Bees balm that I make enough to feed nicely desired area. This texture and alluring scent also attract to put a little more volume then necessary and a few minutes massaging the area of the nail and cuticle, while watching TV or leafing through the news on the net. Occasionally I put it through the day if I see that the skin is a little drier and, wondering whether, when I have time for the cream.

IMG_3987

Already after a few usage saw a substantial change. The skin is moisturized and soft, does not break, nails are shinier. Now i am using it for about a month and it is doing what is supposed to, it really works 🙂 Strengthens nails, there was no breaking in this period, not once. That was my biggest concern because i simply did not have the nail that could puncture, although for a long time keeping them short, every few days one would burst.

So this month no bad nail day for me 😛 The cuticles are incredibly better unless I skip using the cream.

I would prefer to use it not only as a cream for nails and cuticles but as for the entire hand, just that little packaging is a shame 🙂 , i am sorry i am spending it too fast.

IMG_3989

I am pleased with the current appearance of fingernails and cuticles, which look healthy and shiny.

So far I have found only one objection, it seems to me that it goes too fast and the price is not small 😛
Ingredients:

Vitamin E, sunflower oil – nourish brittle nails
Sweet almond oil, cocoa butter seeds – moisturize and soften cuticles

Lemon Oil (Citrus medica limonum), prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, beeswax, citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel oil, theabroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, beta-carotenerosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, tocopherol, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, glycine soja (soyabean) oil, canola oil, vegetable oil.

15 g – 70 kn(10$)

Little update:

The only complaint I have against this cream is that you get through it pretty quickly, because after a long time I was convincingly used to how well it works. It does not work only short-term but also long-term. Conditions nails and cuticles so that after being repaired the initial intensive use is no longer necessary. Just put it a little every few days, when I see that my cuticles begin to be a little dry, or when i want to provide special care to my nails and hands. Since i use it nails do not have a problem, I do not remember if during all this time it happened to me once a broken nail. If you have problems with your nails and cuticles recommend you try it because I am more than satisfied with the current state of mine 🙂 This is a product that definitely has a place on my list of favorite beauty products and without which I do not want to stay 🙂
